About Da Blues
Ah yes, da blues. Technically speaking, "blues" means a musical form, a 12-bar pattern with a basic chord progression that all musicians know. Along with that is a blues scale with "blue" notes.
A lot of people think of the blues as a style of music (I woke up dis mornin'...), but blues music may be performed in any style (country, gospel, jazz, swing, reggae, bounce, boogie, straight-ahead rock or latin). This page has a variety of styles & I have also included some "blues-inspired" tunes for your enjoyment.
